Gatorade || Replenish the Earth

Natalie Ferrara

Growing up across the lake from a port city (Seattle) gave me an appreciate for the Earth's water. This piece is an independent passion project that was concepted during class hours and finally executed during my downtime as an intern.

The Earth is facing a water crisis, more specifically the rivers are drying up. But, Gatorade the self-proclaimed “Thirst Quencher” can do something about it with a simple visual stunt: sell bottles filled to the same percentage as Earth’s major rivers.

"This bottle of Gatorade is only 44.3% filled, the same percentage as the Colorado River.

Our bottles are already made from 100% recycled plastic. Now, we’re putting our money where out mouth is and donating the missing 55.7% of each sale to preserving the Colorado River."
